Manage and review your saved prep batches

Keep prep and production batches organized, review per-yield cost and pricing details, update saved batch records, and reuse batches later when building recipes or other costed items.

What Batches helps you do

Batches gives you a saved prep and production library you can return to for review, updates, scaling, duplication, export, and reuse. Instead of treating prep costing like a one-time calculation, it gives you saved batch records that can stay useful later when you need to build recipes or other costed items from repeat prep work like dressings, sauces, fillings, and mixes.

Search recipes by name or category, browse grouped categories, sort your library, and move through saved records with a structure that makes recipe review faster as your library grows.

Saved batches can be pulled back into Calculator as priced inputs, which helps you build finished recipes from prep components you already use instead of re-entering those cost layers manually. This is one of the clearest supported connections between batches and later recipe costing.

Download a saved batch as a document, copy or share batch summary details, and keep prep records easier to send, review, or reuse when needed.

Open a saved batch to review yield, waste, total cost, cost per yield, menu price, suggested sell price, gross profit, and gross margin from one detail view.

Use preset or custom multipliers to preview ingredient quantities and totals at a different scale when you need to review a batch at a larger or smaller output.

Saved recipes can become source items for Event Mode, extending the value of recipe work beyond the recipe page itself

Edit batch ingredients, quantities, units, yield, waste percentage, and menu price while recalculating totals before saving changes back to the existing batch record.

Create a copy of an existing batch when you want to branch from a version you already have instead of re-entering the same structure again.

Recipes is designed for saved recipe organization and maintenance. It is not the primary start-from-scratch builder, inventory page, or production planning surface.

Saved batches are more than archived prep records. They can support later costing and eligible event workflows, which makes the batch library more useful than a static list of saved prep items.
